Terms of service

Last updated 10 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Chapbook, operated by chapbook pvt ltd, AKB Chrome, Zamin Pallavaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Chapbook helps you draft social media posts with AI assistance and publish them to organization pages you administer. Chapbook is currently in active development; features may change and availability is not guaranteed.

Your account

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you write or publish through Chapbook. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the service for you. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you publish, including content you generated with our drafting assistance and then approved.

AI-generated drafts

Chapbook produces suggested text using machine learning models. Suggestions may be inaccurate, misleading, or unsuitable. Every suggestion passes through your review before it is published. You are responsible for what you approve, and you should not rely on a suggestion as a statement of fact without checking it.

Acceptable use

You may not use Chapbook to publish unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing content; to send spam or artificially inflate engagement; to impersonate a person or organization; to circumvent the rate limits or policies of any connected platform; or to reverse engineer or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Connected platforms

Chapbook interacts with third-party platforms including LinkedIn through their published APIs. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for changes a platform makes to its API, its policies, or its availability, and such changes may limit or remove Chapbook features without notice.

Fees

Paid plans, if offered to you, are billed in advance on the cycle shown at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change takes effect on your account.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice. On termination your right to use Chapbook ends and we handle your data as described in the privacy policy.

Warranties and liability

Chapbook is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will notify you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Chapbook after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
